Craig Shillam was born and raised in the Spokane area and studied commercial and fine art in the highly regarded Spokane Falls Community College Art Program.
For over twenty-five years, his professional career has been a mixture of advertising agencies, design studios, freelancing and custom signs.
Through all the years he has continued to work diligently to develop his fine art in his home studio.
Working mainly in oil paints, his current work could be described as realistic and colorful, with a current emphasis on both landscape and still life paintings.
